25th May - Political March – Newcastle City Centre

Due to a political march taking place on the afternoon of Saturday 25 March in Newcastle City Centre, bus services are likely to be disrupted by road closures during the course of the march between 1:30pm to approx. 3:30pm. Please allow extra time for your journey and seek advice from your driver.

21st May - Routes 63, X6, X63, K3 and 652 - East Bailey, Killingworth

The southern part of East Baily, Killingworth from 8am to 4pm on Tuesday 21 May and Wednesday 22 May will be closed from its junction with Citadel East to its junction with Simonside Way.
Stagecoach services 63 and X63, Arriva service X6, Nexus secured service K2 and scholars service 652 will be following diversions during the course of the works.

20th May - Routes 12, 36 and 84A – Nuns Moor Road, Newcastle upon Tyne

Nuns Moor Road will be closed between Wingrove Road and Brighton Grove from Monday 20 May for approximately three days to allow for the final resurfacing works to take place.
Stagecoach services 12 and 36 and Nexus secured service 84A will be diverted during the resurfacing works

20th May - Routes 63, X6, X63 and K2 - East Bailey, Killingworth

The northern part of East Baily, Killingworth from 8am to 4pm on Monday 20 May will be closed from its junction with Citadel East to its junction with Simonside Way.
Stagecoach services 63 and X63, Arriva service X6 and Nexus secured service K2 will be following diversions during the course of the works.

19th May - Routes 35B, 35C & 79 - Station Road, Houghton le Spring

Station Road, Houghton le Spring, will be closed to traffic on Sunday 19 May due to maintenance works.
Services 35B/35C will divert between Blind Lane and Newbottle Street via Blind Lane, Grasswell Terrace and A182 Houghton Road/Newbottle Street.
Service 79 will divert between Abbey Drive and Newbottle St via Brinkburn Crescent (north end), Blind Lane, Grasswell Terrace and A182 Houghton Road/Newbottle Street.
Buses will be unable to serve Brinkburn Crescent during the closures.

18th May - Saturday night buses at Bigg Market Newcastle

Buses leaving Newcastle after 10.30pm on Saturday nights in May and June will miss stops near St Nicholas Cathedral and Wellington Street, Gateshead, either side of the High Level Bridge, instead using Tyne Bridge. Passengers should use the previous stop in Grainger Street, Market Street or West Road, or Gateshead Interchange, instead. Dates affected are 18 May and 15 June.

18th May - Apprentice Boys of Derry Parade, Newcastle City Centre

Due to the Apprentice Boys of Derry Parade bus service in Newcastle city Centre will be subject to delay or diversion on Saturday 18 May between 12:45pm and 2:15pm. Please allow extra time for your journey and seek advice from your driver.
