Get hands on experience at the 2013 Heritage Skills Festival which is taking place at Tynemouth station over the weekend of Friday, 28 June-Sunday, 30 June.
This family event is open between 10.00am until 4.00pm each day and is packed full of activities for all the family!
- Learn: stonemasonry, green woodworking, blacksmithing, lime mortar, leather working and much, much more.
- Talk to conservation professionals and get advice about looking after your traditional building.
- Learn more about the heritage of the North East.
- Find out about bursary and training opportunities near you.
