 Q:  Why are there no change machines?

 

A: There are change machines located at Central, Monument and the Airport, however, we will be getting in the new machines from the Autumn which means you can pay with coins, notes and cards. It will be more user friendly.

  

Q: What happens to lost property?

 

A:  Lost property gets handed into either the train driver or our customer service staff. They will then take it to the Control Centre at South Gosforth where it will get logged. If you lose an item you must contact the Lost Property Office (0191 203 3199) where you will be given a reference number for collection. All items are stored for 3 months. There is a small fee for collection to cover administration costs.
