From 13 February for about two weeks, the lift on platform 2 at Fellgate will be out of service to allow for upgrade work. Customers requiring step free access to travel from platform 2 are advised to contact staff using the Help Point located at street level. Customers requiring step free and wish to travel to Fellgate platform 2 from South Hylton, should continue travel to Pelaw, change platforms and return to Fellgate platform 1. Please note your journey will take longer.

From 30 January for about two weeks, the lift on platform 1 at St Peters will be out of service to allow for upgrade work. Customers requiring step free access to travel from platform 1 are advised to travel from platform 2 to Stadium of Light, change platforms and continue their journey. Customers requiring step free access to leave platform 1 are advised to travel on to Sunderland station, change platforms and return to St Peters platform 2.

One of the three escalators leading to platforms 3 and 4 at Monument from concourse level will be out of service until early next year. We’re sorry for any inconvenience.
