During the work the lift on platform one at St James will be out of use. The lift on platform two will be in service. Due to operational constraints trains cannot always use platform two at St James, so trains may arrive and leave from platform one. We’re sorry for any inconvenience.

Sunday 30 June, to allow for modernisation work. A frequent bus replacement service will run Gateshead to Hebburn and Gateshead to Brockley Whins. Please leave extra time for travel as trains may not run to the usual timetable and your journey may take longer.
