12th March - No trains after 9pm between Benton and Monkseaton

No trains will operate after 9pm between Benton and Monkseaton Monday 12 to Thursday 15 March. This is to allow for signalling work. A bus replacement service 900 will call at or close to all stations between Four Lane Ends and Monkseaton. Your journey will take longer so please allow extra time. By working this way we can avoid weekend closures. We're sorry for any inconveneince.

13th February - Fellgate platform 2 lift work

From 13 February for about three weeks, the lift on platform 2 at Fellgate will be out of service to allow for upgrade work. Customers requiring step free access to travel from platform 2 are advised to contact staff using the Help Point located at street level. Customers requiring step free and wish to travel to Fellgate platform 2 from South Hylton, should continue travel to Pelaw, change platforms and return to Fellgate platform 1. Please note your journey will take longer.
