Nexus has published initial feedback from its consultation into the future of local bus links on its website.
This breaks down in detail the hundreds of responses local people sent in to Nexus plans to change the network of bus services it subsidises, about 10% of the whole network in Tyne and Wear.
The feedback for Newcastle, North Tyneside and Gateshead can be found by clicking here. The proposals for Sunderland are subject to further discussion and will be published in the near future.
Following publication Nexus will set out final plans for it future bus network following the Government’s forthcoming spending review.
