Hundreds of bus passengers at North Tyneside’s Cobalt Business Park have signed-up to the North East’s first fare free zone which allows them to travel between a number of operators, within the park zone, at no extra cost.
Nexus, which owns, manages and is modernising Metro, said today it expects thousands of music fans to use the Metro system for this summer’s Pink concert at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.
