Sunderland Council leader Paul Watson has pressed the button to launch a unique new light artwork – marking the completion of a £7 million project to modernise Sunderland station’s platforms.
Things that we everyday folk leave behind have becomes icons in a new artwork for Sunderland - North East photographer Julian Germain’s ‘Found’.
Work to completely refurbish platform areas at Sunderland railway station entered its final phase on Monday 21 June.
