If you don't have an Under 16 Card, or you’re travelling after 7.00pm Monday-Friday, or at weekends, you will pay the operator’s commercial child fare. If you are (or look like you are) 14 or over, you will be charged the adult fare. So if you live in Tyne and Wear and are under 16, apply for an Under 16 Card now to be entitled to child fares.
