So, even without a car, getting to work or to the retail and leisure parks and attractions of North Tyneside, has never been easier. There's now - an increased service between Northumberland Park and Cobalt Business Park at peak times
- a new peak time service (19X) providing a fast and frequent link betwen the ferry and North Tyneside's business and shopping parks

Route 19 is a fast and frequent bus service that goes to areas of North Tyneside that can be difficult to reach without a car - Cobalt Business Park, Silverlink Shopping Park, Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate and Royal Quays. It connects with Metro at Northumberland Park (which has a brand new 400 space multi-storey car park) and Percy Main, as well as the Shields Ferry. The route includes some strateches of road that only Route 19 can use, which increase its reliability. And the vehicles used are modern, accessible, clean and easy to spot with their striking branding.
