If you’re a full time student aged 16-18 years old then this is the Metro card for you. And you can do more than just go to school or college with this pass. To get a 16-18 Metro Student Card you need to be:
- aged under 19 years on 1 September 07
- in full time further education

You will need to complete an application form available below taking it to any Nexus TravelShop with proof of age and some student identification with academic dates shown. You will also need a passport sized photograph which is available from the TravelShops. How to renew
Once you have your 16-18 photocard you have the option of renewing: - renewing securely online - why not do it now, just click on the renew tickets button *
- calling the renewal hotline on 0191 203 3315 (open Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm)
- calling into any Nexus TravelShop
