West Jesmond subway closure
The subway at West Jesmond station will be closed from 1 March for two weeks to allow for maintenance. During the closure customers are advised to use the station ramp to access the opposite platform.
Flooring work will also be carried out on platform 1 in the ticket area from Monday 8 March until Thursday 11 March, during this time platform 1 can be accessed by the ramp entrance only. Tickets can be purchased from the staff at the station or from the ticket machines on the opposite platform. West Jesmond footbridge closure
The ramp and bridge at West Jesmond station will be closed from 15 March for three weeks to allow for maintenance. During the closure customers can use the subway or the alternative level access route via Forsyth Road to access the opposite platform. Flooring work will be carried out in the ticket area of platform 2 and on the lower ramp from Monday 22 March until Thursday 25 March, during this time the lower ramp and ticket area will be closed. Tickets can be purchased from platform 1 ticket machines or from the Metro staff at the station.
Platform 2 will be accessible by the stairway and temporary entrance point. Anyone requiring level access to the station should use the diversion route to platform 1 via Forsyth Road, travel to Jesmond station, change to platform 2 using the lift and begin your journey, or contact a member of staff at West Jesmond for assistance.
Hadrian Road station footbridge closure
The footbridge at Hadrian Road station will be closed from 15 March for seven days to allow for maintenance. During the closure customers are advised to access the opposite platform by the footbridge on Viaduct Terrace leading from South Terrace and Hadrian Road.
Hebburn car park will be closed until late March to carry out maintenance. A temporary car park will be available during the closure.
