If you have a Northumberland or County Durham concessionary travel pass, you can apply for a Northumberland or County Durham Metro Gold Card which gives you a year's travel on Tyne & Wear Metro for just £25!
You can use your Metro Gold Card to travel after 9.30am Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on public holidays. You can also use it to travel on Northern Rail services between Newcastle and Sunderland after 9.30am Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and public holidays.
