Four Lane Ends bus station

Four Lane Ends interchange, located in Longbenton on the outskirts of Newcastle, is owned by Nexus.  The station hosts a number of outlets including a newsagents, sandwich shop and hairdressers.  Four Lane Ends Metro station is accessed through the bus station and there is a public car park on site.

Two main bus operators use the station, Stagecoach and Arriva North East.  The services on offer range from local routes and surrounding areas including a shuttle service to Quorum Business Park.  The station has stands lettered from A to G (7) and a number of bus parking bays.  

The station has three main entrances/exits.  There is a wide pedestrian concourse area for passengers and each stand has seating for approximately 5 people.  Each stand has a bus timetable and electronic information boards can be found above the stands.  There are also two main electronic boards at either end of the station.  At each stand the doors all have electronic sensors.  There are public and disabled toilet facilities.

The station area is covered by CCTV which is operated and controlled by staff at South Gosforth control room (Metro) and is also accessed by Killingworth CCTV room (Delta Charlie).  There is a bus station managers office that is used by staff and the Police.
