Gateshead bus station is a large enclosed bus station within Gateshead town centre. It provides connections with Metro to Newcastle and Sunderland city centres, Newcastle Airport and the Coast.
The bus interchange is located on the top floor of the building, and the Metro station can be found on the lower level. The station includes public and disabled toilets and various retail outlets. The public toilets are chargeable and open between 06:00-21:00 hours - please note that these are currently (June 2021) temporarily closed.
