Nexus is looking to appoint an Assistant Engineering Manager to support launch of the newly formed Facilities & Estates maintenance team. This is a new position for Nexus and the successful applicant will have significant experience in the Legislation and Compliance activities associated with building maintenance.
Working closely with the Engineering Manager, you will lead, motivate and be responsible for the Facilities & Estates maintenance team. You will possess strong technical skills with the ability to achieve high quality results.
As the Assistant Engineering Manager, you will hold responsibility for operational maintenance within premises and facilities throughout the Nexus Estate. In addition to a broad appreciation of Building and Engineering maintenance practices; you will be the business expert in passive fire protection and shape the future maintenance, installation, and repair regime for this asset group. It is essential to have served a recognised Joinery Apprenticeship and hold a Level 3 BWF Fire door inspection or equivalent qualification to apply for this position.
