Come and see what a career at Nexus is really like.

We believe in investing in the future and growing our own talent.

We love it when school students bring invaluable fresh ideas and offer a different perspective. Our aim is to give a helping hand to enthusiastic students in our local community who want to learn more about working at Nexus.

Work experience leads to more informed choices about future careers, because:

  • It gives you a chance to see if the job involves what you thought it would
  • You’ll see just how many jobs are available, including ones you might not have considered
  • It gives you a behind-the-scenes view of all the different things involved in delivering public transport

Our opportunities are aimed at college and sixth form students, as well as those in years 10 and 11 of school, with a special programme designed to give you an insight into the variety of roles we have at Nexus and a taste of working life.

At Nexus you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience and develop knowledge within a specific area, building your skills and confidence, enabling you to discover what you could enjoy doing in the world of work.
