Using our Intellectual Property

Metro map

With a raft of recognisable intellectual property (IP) including the iconic Metro “M”, Metro map and moquette seat design, we get lots of enquiries asking to use our branding and IP. We are always happy to discuss the use of our IP and we work with third parties to licence appropriate use of our assets.

Using our IP

All third party usage has to be under licence so that we can manage and protect our valuable IP. You may want to use our IP in commercial or promotional activity; in film or TV shows; videos, magazines, books; or customer information or education content. For any of these you will need a licence. The licence agreement and terms will vary according to use and purpose.

Any third party use of our brand IP will incur a licence fee. For us to grant a licence to third parties for use of our IP you must:

  • Pay us a licence fee
  • Make sure your use complies with our brand guidelines
  • Have sought approval from us as to the intended use

Report IP infringements

Do you have any suspicions that someone is using Nexus’s trademarks incorrectly, or without license? Report the unauthorised use of any of Nexus's trademarks by emailing our infringements team [email protected] Third parties using our IP without a licence will be contacted by our Brand Protection team to be granted a retrospective licence and to arrange for the applicable fees to be paid.
