Christmas 2024 and New Year Metro service information
Trains will be running throughout the festive period except on Christmas Day and New Year's Day, when no trains will be in service.
A summary of the services are shown below.
| Christmas Eve | Revised weekday service until about 6.00pm* then an hourly service until the end of service. |
| Christmas Day | No service. |
| Boxing Day | Revised Sunday service starting from about 8.00am*, with services finishing around 8.00pm*. |
| Friday 27 December | Revised weekday service. |
| Saturday 28 December | Revised Saturday service. |
| Sunday 29 December | Revised Sunday service. |
| Monday 30 December | Revised weekday service. |
| New Year's Eve | Revised weekday service until about 9.00pm* then a reduced frequency until the end of service. |
| New Year's Day | No service. |
| Thursday 2 January | Weekday service. |
*Train times will vary depending on the location and direction of travel.
