Station Accessibility Access to station
- Situated on Station Road with separate entrances for each platform.
- The station is accessed from Brisbane Drive in Brockley Whins or Station Road in Boldon Colliery and from the footpath and bridge over the railway that links these two roads. Note that the access off the footbridge at either end is obstructed by barriers, and that the footpath linking the bridge with the entrance to platform 2 is quite steep.
- There is a pick up/set down area accessible from Station Road beside Platform 2 but no parking facilities.
Access to ticketing areas
- Ramp access to Platform 1 from footbridge.
- Platform 2 is slightly below road level and the ticketing area is accessed by short ramps at either end.
- A pedestrian route from Boldon Colliery runs alongside Station Road, it is lit but secluded.
Access between platforms
- Via external footbridge, accessed by ramps.
