- Situated on Lealholm Road with separate entrances for each platform.
- There are no parking facilities.
Access to ticketing areas
- Main entrance to station on Platform 1 side is off a slightly sloping forecourt fronting on Lealholm Road and Glaisdale Road.
- Entrance to station on Platform 2 side for the Coast is via public footpath from Chesters Avenue, with a short ramp up to the ticketing area.
Access between platforms
- Direct access is via footbridge within station, accessed by stairs at either side, with corduroy tactile warning surface and handrails.
- There is a ramped footbridge (no handrails) external to the station, which has a good surface although a ‘spiral’ design and steep gradient may pose problems to some independent wheelchair users.
