Revised Metro timetable Thursday 29 May -Sunday 1 June 2025

A four day line closure between Airport and Regent Centre is planned for Thursday 29 May-Sunday 1 June, during this time a revised train timetable will be in place and a replacement bus service will be running in the affected area.  For more details about the line closure and the replacement bus service click here.

To ensure our train service continues to run we need to carry out regular maintenance and improvement works on and around our tracks. Some work can be done during the day, but often work can only be completed safely when the train service is not running. This means we work overnight and during planned line closures.

The type of work taking place includes inspections, patrolling the tracks, lineside management, maintenance and renewal work and cleaning. Sometimes the work generates noise which residents or businesses near to the Metro line may be able to hear.
