Parents whose children’s U16 Pop cards are due to expire on July 31 this year are reminded to get their renewal applications in before the end of April.
Nexus has issued the reminder so that it has more time to process the many thousands of applications it receives for U16 Pop cards, which increase in the summer months ahead of the new school year starting in September.
Head of Communications and Customer Services at Nexus, Huw Lewis, said: “Parents who need to renew their children’s U16 Pop cards should get their renewal forms to us before the deadline at the end of the month.
“We will still be accepting applications after the end of April, however, we cannot guarantee that you receive the Pop card in time for the new school year in September.
“Current U16 Pop cards continue to be valid until the end of July, and applying early will ensure you have a new pass ready to use when it does expire.
“Simply complete a renewal form online and send it to us with a passport photo of your child and a cheque for £5 by the end of April.”
