- Station is located on either side of Fawdon Lane with separate entrances for each platform.
- Platform1 can be accessed by footpath from Fawdon Lane level crossing or via car park at rear of Fawdon Park Road.
- Platform 2 is accessed by a short footpath from Fawdon Lane level crossing.
- Car parking is located adjacent to Platform 1 and is accessed from Fawdon Park Road, with 23 unclassified parking bays and 2 designated accessible bays. There are dropped kerbs adjacent.

- Passengers must use level crossing between platforms. Crossing is un-gated with warning lights and sirens. Take care before attempting to cross.
- Wheelchair users should also take care that wheels do not become struck in rail grooves.
