Take the kids for free on buses

Up to three kids aged 11 and under can travel for free on bus services operated by Arriva North East or Stagecoach in County Durham, Northumberland and Tyne and Wear all day, every day from Saturday 22 July until when accompanied by a fare-paying adult. Bus services paid for by Nexus, Durham County Council and Northumberland County Council are also included. 

The fare-paying adult must be aged 18 or over and in possession of a valid ticket, validated smartcard or Concessionary Travel Pass (ENCTS card). The accompanying children don't need to have a ticket.

How do you take up the offer on Arriva North East buses?

Up to three kids aged 11 and under can travel for free on Arriva North East bus services for journeys wholly within Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and/or County Durham when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.

Up to three kids aged 11 and under can travel for free on Stagecoach bus services when accompanied by a fare-paying adult, and that includes anyone aged 18 or over using:
