Have you Paid and Displayed?

This work was removed in 2012, having become increasingly damaged over the previous years.

‘Have You Paid and Displayed?’ is a mural designed to provide a visual flow in the stairwell between different levels of the car park.  It was composed by the artist on site and evolved in response to the everyday experiences of the car park’s users and their Metro journeys.  Figurative images of commuters are integrated with ‘fantasy’ landscape images and combined with text, presenting a contrast of reality and imagination.
