LGBTQ+ sports clubs in Tyne and Wear

Here are four sports club in Tyne and Wear that are specifically inclusive for those apart of LGBTQ+ that you can join or support. All the clubs are accessible to attend via Metro.
Geordie Grand Slammers
The North East's only LGBTQ+ tennis club, the Geordie Grand Slammers is an all-inclusive club which welcomes all tennis abilities, regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender, identity, sex, race, religion or nationality. The club plays on Sunday evenings at the Northumberland Club in Jesmond.

Newcastle Ravens
Established in 2006, Newcastle Ravens Rugby Club was created to encourage LGBTQ+ people to enjoy the sport and to introduce new and potential players to rugby as well as developing the skills of experienced players. The Ravens train twice a week at Percy Park RFC on a Wednesday and Paddy Freemans Park on a Saturday.

Newcastle Frontrunners
Newcastle Frontrunners is a LGBTQ+ focused running club. The welcome anyone of any ability, LGBTQ+ or not, and competitive or leisurely minded. They hold a variety of different types of training sessions 3 times a week, and have an active race and social calendar too.

Newcastle Panthers
A football club for everybody. The Newcastle Panthers are a friendly football team that currently play 11 a side and 5 a side in tournaments.
