Top spots to get a hot chocolate in Tyne and Wear this winter

Situated in the Hoult's yard, Proven Goods typically specialise in artisan doughnuts, however their hot chocolates are also unmissable. A speciality of the café is their 'Hot Chocolate Fluff' which is a classic hot chocolate topped with their toasted whipped marshmallow fluff and chocolate shavings. There is vegan alternatives and also a kids version.

2. Gosforth Traders

Gosforth Traders are a neighbourhood café and delicatessen in the heart of Gosforth. They have an amazing food menu and speciality coffees, however their hot chocolates are a fantastic choice when you're sat in this cosy atmosphere.
