It’s great to see Sunderland Restaurant Week coming back to the city centre and also along the coast at Roker and Seaburn. Restaurant Week is #HappeninginSunderland from 16 to 24 March. Dine out in a great range of cafes and restaurants for as little as £10, £15 or £20pp. We have picked a few that are handy using Metro in both the city centre and at the Coast.

Seaburn 

Theres lots of places to try in the STACK at Seaburn - Tacos at Chapos or Greek at Acropolis, or try out the unique Holy Duck a different take on the Chinese classic dishes we know and love.  Brand new for 2024 is These Things Happen set in a former derelict car garage. You can tuck into a range of small plates, steaks and more.

Sunderland City Centre 

Koji is new to Sunderland city centre just opposite Sunderland Empire, so it's really handy for either Sunderland or Park Lane Metro. From traditional authentic Kimchi, to ramen and noodle dishes it’s a great new addition in a historic building in Sunderland, 2 Church Lane.

Also new for this restaurant week is Rumour Has it near Park Lane Metro, which is located under the popular bar The Terrace. With plush interiors and a bistro menu it’s well worth a visit.
