One single (concessionary) journey on the Shields Ferry costs 60p or you can travel all day for £1.10 with a Child All-day Ticket (on all modes of transport) - you will need an Under 16 Pop card to buy both of these tickets.

You'll pay the commercial child fare, which is **£1.00 for a single journey or **£1.90 for all day travel when you buy a Metro Child Day Ticket. However, if you are, or look like you are, 14 or over, you will be charged the adult fare. So if you live in Tyne and Wear and are under 16, apply for your Under 16 Pop Card now to be entitled to pay concessionary child fares.
