The Class and Youth Group Metro Pass is valid for up to 40 students aged 18 and under and up to 10 accompanying adults travelling in a group. The Class and Youth Group Metro Pass is valid for travel on the whole Metro system and the Shields Ferry. You must be travelling in a group and after 9.00am.

There are three options:

One day pass

Term pass

Autumn - 1 September 2024 to 31 December 2024
Spring - 1 January 2025 to 20 April 2025
Summer - 21 April 2025 to 31 August 2025

Annual pass

Valid for 365 days from date of purchase

Passes valid for up to 40 students and 10 accompanying adults. If you would like any extra passes, please contact Customer Relations on 0191 20 20 747.

To apply for your pass
Post the completed application form*, which you can find in the leaflet below, with a self address envelope to:

*Please allow up to 14 working days to process your application.

For supervision purposes Metro recommend the ratio of one adult to every four children travelling.

Assistance
If you require assistance when travelling on Metro contact Customer Relations on 0191 20 20 747, a minimum of fourteen days in advance of your planned journey. Please note that staff assistance is not always available.
