Go North East routes 53 and 54 will be unable to serve Saltwell View, Brinkburn Avenue and Field House Road between 5pm and 9pm on Saturday, 5 November, when the fireworks display is being staged in Saltwell Park. Buses will be diverted between Coatsworth Road and Saltwell Road via Whitehall Road in both directions. A special Park and Ride bus F1 will run between Gateshead Interchange and Durham Road between 5:10pm and 7:10pm from Gateshead and 7:25pm to 8:50pm from Durham Road.
