Nexus finds new operators for Veolia bus routes

6 July 2011

Local bus services now operated by Veolia transport on behalf of Nexus are changing at the end of July – but passengers should be reassured all routes that now run will continue to do so.

All services now operated by Veolia on our behalf (listed below) will transfer to new operators on 24 or 31 July.

We are aware that in a small number of cases journeys have been cancelled due to a shortage of drivers, since Veolia has chosen to totally withdraw from operating local buses in the area from the end of July and some drivers are now seeking new employment.

Nexus is monitoring this situation daily and, where buses are unable to run we aim wherever possible to supply alternative vehicles or taxis at short notice.

We are sorry for any disruption caused and can assure passengers that services will return to normal as new operators take over.
